We consider our contribution to society as fundamental. We work with organizations and associations to promote and finance projects in  areas of priority defined by the Group: school education, health and scientific research, environment, art and culture and social welfare.

In each of these areas, we have identified and chosen nationally and internationally renowned and recognized partners and associations with whom we have established important and long-term cooperations with the aim of generating value and giving concrete support in the realization of durable projects.

Fondazione Veronesi

Fondazione Veronesi

The Fondazione Veronesi was born to promote scientific research and develop projects for prevention, health education and the promotion of science. Bolton Group has been linked to the Fondazione Veronesi for more than ten years; at the core of this relationship is the funding of scholarships for research in the areas of oncology, cardiovascular disease and neuroscience. There are also specific collaborative projects with our brands, such as support for the Pink Parade Pittarosso, the great event created to support the Pink is Good project, which promotes scientific research for the prevention and treatment of women’s cancer.

Fondazione ToghetherToGo

Fondazione ToghetherToGo

Bolton Group has supported the TogetherToGo Onlus Foundation since its creation in 2011. TOG is a center of excellence for the rehabilitation of children with severe neurological diseases. Over the years we have funded specific training projects for clinical staff and a project to design and implement prototypes through 3D prints. We are currently funding the project "Developing Thinking in TOG Children: Skills and Knowledge", which provides support for children who need help in improving school performance and increasing their cognitive potential.

Banco Alimentare

Banco Alimentare

Since 2011, we have been cooperating with the Food Bank, which has the mission to collect and distribute excess food to charitable structures which assist people in need. The collaboration consists in the recovery of unsellable consumable Group products, of unheated meals at the food plant canteen and in our active participation in “National Food Collection Day”, where employees can volunteer out of solidarity.

We Care For Child Education

"One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world. Education is the only solution. Education first."

These words spoken by Malala Yousafzai at her United Nations speech on July 12, 2013, also reflect our view: that culture and education have the power to transform the future. We Care For Child Education has the ambitious goal of contributing to ensuring the right to education to children and teenagers, the fundamental pre-requisite for developing conscious adults and a better society.

The project was launched in 2013 in partnership with Save the Children. Together, we have created a plan of interventions in Italy and in other parts of the world where children need particular support.

We strongly believe that education is at the basis of children’s future: this is why we support the Save the Children Fuoriclasse project, an integrated intervention which acts on the causes of school dropping out by promoting awareness activities in schools, training courses for teachers and the direct involvement of families.

Since 2013, we have been funding the Fuoriclasse project in Milan and Bari, and since 2017, we have granted two-year-long scholarships to support students in completing compulsory school in Turin.

Thanks to our contribution, the students of 23 primary and secondary schools of the 1st degree in Milan and Bari, were given access to the following academic and extracurricular activities:

  • Classroom workshops to support student motivation
  • School camps to continue class team-building within an educational and informal context,
  • After-school study support
  • Advisory councils to enable dialogue between teachers and students in order to promote school well-being
  • Training activities for teachers
  • Meetings with and for parents in order to facilitate the dialogue between school and families
  • Integration programs for newly arrived foreign youth to improve their Italian

Ethiopia is one of the poorest nations in the world, where many children are still unable to access education.

In the region of the Tigray, there is also a chronic situation of food insecurity.

For this reason, the Bolton Group has decided to support Save the Children’s intervention in Tigray to overcome the barriers to accessing school and create the conditions to secure the right to school education.

Since 2013, the Group's contribution has allowed the construction of primary schools in remote and isolated areas and their refurbishment in terms of school material, sanitation and access to water.

In addition, in 2015, the Bolton Group partnered with Save the Children at EXPO Milano by financing a food security program with the aim of creating income sources for the most vulnerable families, thus guaranteeing children's right to healthy nutrition and education.
